Description
Delicious and crispy air fryer breakfast burritos stuffed with eggs, cheese, sausage or turkey bacon, and veggies.
Ingredients
4 large flour tortillas
6 large eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage or turkey bacon, crumbled
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced bell pepper
1/4 cup salsa
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cooked sausage or turkey bacon to the skillet and stir to combine.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Pour the eggs into the skillet and scramble until fully cooked.
- Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute the egg mixture between the tortillas, adding a generous spoonful of salsa and a sprinkle of cheese on top of each one.
- Roll up each tortilla tightly to form a burrito.
- Lightly brush each burrito with olive oil.
- Place the burritos in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Let the burritos cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use whole wheat tortillas for a healthier option.
Customize the fillings with your favorite vegetables or meats.
Store leftover burritos in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer before serving.
