Description

These Air Fryer Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls are a sweet and crispy treat that combines creamy cheesecake and cherry pie filling, all wrapped in a crispy egg roll wrapper. Air-fried to perfection, they make a quick and indulgent dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

12 egg roll wrappers

1 cup cherry pie filling

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

⅓ cup powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 large egg (for sealing)

1 tbsp melted butter (optional, for brushing)

Optional: cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. This will create your cheesecake filling.
  2. Assemble Egg Rolls: Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Spread 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling in the center, followed by 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides. Moisten the top corner with a beaten egg and roll tightly to seal the egg roll.
  3. Air Fry to Perfection: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray or brush the egg rolls with oil or melted butter for extra crispiness. Place the egg rolls in the basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. Cool & Serve: Let the egg rolls cool for 3–5 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar if desired. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.

Notes

You can use any fruit filling like blueberry, raspberry, or apple for variety.

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can deep fry or pan-fry the egg rolls until golden brown.

If you prefer a lighter option, use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt as a substitute.

The egg rolls can be assembled in advance and frozen for up to 1 month. Air fry directly from frozen at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.

These egg rolls are best served fresh, but they can be reheated in the air fryer for a crispy finish.

You can adjust the sweetness by using a sugar alternative like stevia or monk fruit instead of powdered sugar.

For an indulgent treat, serve with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
