Description

Looking for a quick and healthy meal? This Air Fryer Chicken Breast recipe delivers juicy, tender chicken with a perfectly crispy exterior in just 28 minutes. With minimal oil and simple seasoning, it’s an ideal choice for weeknight dinners or meal prep. Enjoy the flavorful, crispy chicken without the need for frying!

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil.

  • In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and onion powder.

  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.

  • Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 9 minutes, flip, then cook for another 7-9 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts for a few hours before cooking.

Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.

Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure the chicken cooks evenly and crisps up.
