Ingredients
¾ cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 5 ounces each)
1 egg, beaten
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cooking spray
1 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for serving)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Chopped fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
Pasta for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Combine bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Dip chicken in beaten egg. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then coat it in the bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Spray the chicken with cooking spray and place it in the air fryer.
- Cook for 6 minutes. Flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes.

- Air fry for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
