Ingredients
1 can (12 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared dish.
- In a bowl, mix apples, pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Sprinkle over cinnamon rolls.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over the dish.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with the icing from the package, and let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Add raisins or dried cranberries for extra sweetness.
Use pumpkin spice instead of cinnamon and nutmeg for a fall twist.
Swap apples for pears for a different flavor.
Double the recipe in a 9×13-inch dish, adjusting bake time.
Make it dairy-free with almond or oat milk and a simple glaze instead of packaged icing.
