Description

This Fruit Pizza is a refreshing and fun dessert perfect for summer gatherings, BBQs, and birthday parties. With a soft sugar cookie crust, creamy cream cheese frosting, and a vibrant assortment of fresh fruit, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s as customizable as it is delicious. Whether you prefer strawberries, kiwi, or blueberries, this fruit pizza is a visually stunning treat that will be the star of any occasion.

Ingredients

1 batch of sugar cookie dough (see recipe for details)

1 package cream cheese (brick style, not spreadable)

¼ cup unsalted butter

1 ¼ cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, grapes, or any of your favorites)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll the sugar cookie dough and chill for 20 minutes.

  • Press dough into a 9–10-inch pizza pan or baking sheet.

  • Bake the dough for about 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.

  • In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cookie crust.

  • Top with sliced fresh fruit in a colorful arrangement.

  • Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For a different twist, try using chocolate chip cookie dough for the crust.

You can make this dessert dairy-free by using dairy-free cream cheese and butter substitutes.

Drizzle with melted chocolate or honey for added sweetness.
