Ingredients
2 cans (7.5 oz each) Pillsbury™ Country Style refrigerated biscuits
2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (1 oz)
2 tablespoons ranch dressing
1/4 cup butter, melted
Additional ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly spray a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with cooking spray.
-
Prepare the Chicken:
In a medium bowl, toss the shredded chicken with 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce until well coated. Set aside.
-
Prepare the Biscuits:
Separate the biscuits into 10 pieces per can. Cut 4 biscuits into quarters to create 16 smaller pieces. Stretch each piece into a round, place a teaspoon of blue cheese in the center, and pinch the dough around the cheese to seal.
-
Assemble the Monkey Bread:
For the remaining biscuits, stretch them into larger rounds and place about 1 tablespoon buffalo chicken in the center. Seal the dough around the chicken. Drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup buffalo sauce and 2 tablespoons ranch dressing in the bottom of the cake pan.
-
Layer the Dough Balls:
Dip each dough ball into melted butter and layer them in the pan.
-
Bake:
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.
-
Serve:
Serve hot with additional ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
Add More Cheese: Incorporate mozzarella or cheddar cheese for extra cheesy goodness.
Spicy Kick: Add extra hot sauce or red pepper flakes for a spicier version.
Vegetarian Option: Substitute the chicken with shredded cauliflower or mushrooms for a plant-based version.
