Description

These Cheeseburger Cups combine classic cheeseburger flavors into a fun, bite-sized treat. With a crispy biscuit shell, cheesy beef filling, and your favorite toppings, they’re perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 oz or 10 oz)

1/4 cup mustard (optional)

1/4 cup ketchup (optional)

1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)

1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)

1/4 cup chopped lettuce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, cooking for an additional 2 minutes to enhance the flavor.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt slightly.
  5. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough. Separate each biscuit and press into the bottom and up the sides of a greased muffin tin to form cups.
  6. Spoon the cheesy ground beef mixture into each biscuit cup, filling about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the biscuit tops are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  9. Top with mustard, ketchup, diced pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce, if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use plant-based ground meat.

Switch up the cheese to mozzarella, Swiss, or American for different flavors.

For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
