Description

Cheesecake stuffed chocolate chip cookies are a decadent fusion of creamy cheesecake filling enveloped in soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie dough—perfect for special occasions or indulgent treats.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten it. Place a small dollop of the cheesecake mixture in the center.
  9. Top with another flattened piece of cookie dough and seal the edges.
  10. Place stuffed cookies on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  12. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
