Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough
- 5 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and follow packet instructions. Set aside.
- Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Cut into 10 equal rectangles.
- Assemble the Taco Sticks: Spoon seasoned beef onto each rectangle, then place a halved cheese stick on top. Roll up the dough, pinching the edges to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush with Garlic Butter: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley, then brush generously over each taco stick.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Serve: Let cool slightly, then serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the filling.
- Try different cheeses, such as mozzarella or pepper jack, for a twist.
- For a vegetarian version, swap ground beef for black beans or a plant-based substitute.
- To make crispier taco sticks, brush with extra butter and broil for the last 2 minutes.
