Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces (halal)
1 lb (450 g) ground beef (halal)
12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne or fettuccine)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth (halal)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in well-salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces and ground beef to the skillet.
- Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the beef is browned.
- Pour in the chicken broth and simmer for a few minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Reduce heat and add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Add a splash of pasta water or broth if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, garnish if desired, and serve.

Keep heat low when adding cream and cheese to avoid curdling.
Add vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for extra nutrition.
Use pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
