Description

Cranberry Brie Flatbread combines creamy Brie cheese, sweet cranberry sauce, and crunchy nuts on a crispy flatbread base, drizzled with balsamic glaze and fresh rosemary. This elegant and flavorful dish is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 large flatbread (store-bought or homemade)

8 oz Brie cheese, sliced

1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)

½ cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Olive oil, for drizzling

Salt and pepper, to taste

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the flatbread on the baking sheet.
  3. Evenly distribute the Brie cheese slices over the flatbread.
  4. Spoon cranberry sauce over the Brie, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  6. Distribute chopped walnuts or pecans over the cranberry and Brie layer (if using).
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the flatbread is golden brown.
  9. After baking, let it cool for 5 minutes and drizzle with balsamic glaze (if using).
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.

To make a vegan version, use plant-based cheese and flatbread.

Add arugula or spinach after baking for a fresh, peppery bite.

Substitute Brie with goat cheese or camembert for a different flavor and texture.
