Ingredients
4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (halal)
2 cups broccoli florets, steamed or blanched
1 cup mayonnaise (halal-certified)
1 cup sour cream (halal-certified)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (halal-certified)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 cup breadcrumbs (halal-certified)
2 tablespoons melted butter or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the cooked chicken evenly in the baking dish and layer the broccoli on top.
- In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese and Parmesan until well combined.
- Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken and broccoli.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter or olive oil.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the top is golden and the sauce is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
