Description

Deep Fried Oreos are the ultimate indulgent dessert, combining the crispy, golden exterior and gooey Oreo filling. This recipe is easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 cup pancake mix

⅔ cup milk

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

For Frying:

1 package Oreo cookies

Vegetable oil (for deep frying)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine pancake mix, milk, egg, and vegetable oil. Whisk until smooth and let the batter rest for a few minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F. Use a thermometer to ensure the right temperature.
  3. Set up a breading station with the batter, Oreo cookies, and a plate with paper towels to drain the fried cookies.
  4. Dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, then fry in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Turn occasionally for even cooking.
  5. Remove the fried Oreos with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Dust the warm Oreos generously with powdered sugar.
  7. Serve and enjoy immediately while warm and crispy.

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, dip the fried Oreos in melted chocolate.

Try adding a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract to the batter for added flavor.

Mini Oreos can be used for bite-sized versions.
