Ingredients
2 (5.3 oz) blocks Boursin cheese, softened
1 tbsp half and half
1/2 (10 oz) container pepper jelly
1 tbsp fresh chopped chives (optional)
1 (10 oz) box of wheat, butter, or multigrain crackers for serving
Instructions
- Place softened Boursin cheese in a food processor or mixing bowl.
- Add the half and half and whip for 20–30 seconds until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Spread the whipped cheese evenly into a shallow serving dish.
- If the pepper jelly is thick, microwave it for 10–30 seconds to loosen it, then spoon over the cheese layer and spread gently.
- Sprinkle fresh chopped chives on top for garnish.
- Serve immediately with crackers, pita chips, or toasted bread slices.
Notes
Use different Boursin flavors such as Garlic & Fine Herbs or Shallot & Chive for variety.
Substitute cream cheese for a milder or budget-friendly option.
Top with cranberry pepper jelly, onion jam, or leftover cranberry sauce for a seasonal twist.
Add crushed pistachios or a drizzle of honey for a festive look.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and serve at room temperature.
