Ingredients

4 tbsp butter

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup chicken broth or stock

Salt and black pepper to taste

3 cups cooked chicken, chopped

12 oz linguini, cooked al dente

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.

  3. Add the chopped, cooked chicken to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.

  4. Gently fold in the cooked linguini and mix until fully combined.

  5. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch glass baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  6. Top the mixture with shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.

  7. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

  8. Let the dish rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a veggie boost, try adding peas, mushrooms, or spinach.

If you prefer a lower-fat version, use light cream of chicken soup and low-fat sour cream.

Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before adding it to the sauce.

This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
