Description

Rich and delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookie bars that are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 12 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (adjust based on sweetness preference)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in the white sugar and brown sugar, stirring until just combined.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt).
  6. Gently fold in the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
  7. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown. Use a toothpick to check the center for doneness.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow the cookie bars to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of chocolate chips based on your sweetness preference.
  • Ensure the butter and eggs are at room temperature for proper mixing and better texture.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing to prevent them from crumbling.
