Ingredients
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1–2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (adjust based on sweetness preference)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add in the white sugar and brown sugar, stirring until just combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt).
- Gently fold in the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden brown. Use a toothpick to check the center for doneness.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookie bars to cool before slicing and serving.

- You can adjust the amount of chocolate chips based on your sweetness preference.
