Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Breakfast Pizza topped with turkey sausage, mozzarella cheese, and a creamy sausage-flavored gravy. Perfect for brunch or breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 packet sausage-flavored country gravy mix
  • ¾ cup pre-cooked crumbled turkey sausage
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: eggs, or cheddar cheese for additional toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a 9×13-inch baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. Pre-cook pizza dough according to package instructions for about 6 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, cook the country gravy, whisking frequently until smooth and thickened.
  4. Spread desired amount of gravy over the pre-cooked pizza dough, reserving extra gravy for dipping if desired.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the gravy layer.
  6. Top with sausage crumbles (add optional toppings like eggs, or cheddar cheese if desired).
  7. Optional: Brush outer crust edges with a thin layer of olive oil for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 10–15 minutes more, or until crust is golden and cooked through.

  • For a crispier crust, bake the pizza dough slightly longer during the pre-cooking step.
