Ingredients
2 cups fresh mango, puréed
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 8–10 lemons)
1 cup white sugar
4 cups filtered water
Instructions
-
Make the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
-
Prepare the Mango Purée: Blend the mango with a little water until smooth to make the purée.
-
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, add the mango purée, lemon juice, cooled sugar syrup, and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
-
Chill: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for a few hours to chill.
-
Serve: Pour the mango lemonade into glasses filled with ice and enjoy!
Notes
Storage: Store leftover mango lemonade in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
Freezing: You can freeze leftover lemonade for up to 3 months. Thaw it partially to make a frozen slushy drink.
Variations: Try fruit swaps like strawberries, peaches, or pineapple for different flavors. For a tropical twist, use coconut water instead of water or add a splash of club soda for a fizzy finish.
