Description

A rich and indulgent fudge pie with deep chocolate flavor and a chewy, brownie-like center, perfect served warm with ice cream and chocolate sauce.


Ingredients

3 oz unsweetened chocolate

1/2 cup salted butter

1 1/4 cups granulated sugar

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

Chocolate sauce, for topping

Ice cream, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsweetened chocolate and butter together, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Whisk in the sugar, flour, vanilla, and eggs until the batter is smooth and fully combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan.
  5. Bake for 27 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  6. Serve warm with chocolate sauce and ice cream on top.

Notes

The center will firm up slightly as the pie cools.

Use unsalted butter with a pinch of salt if preferred.

Add nuts, chocolate chips, or espresso powder for variation.

Reheat gently to restore the fudgy texture.
