Ingredients
3 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup salted butter
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
Chocolate sauce, for topping
Ice cream, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsweetened chocolate and butter together, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Whisk in the sugar, flour, vanilla, and eggs until the batter is smooth and fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pie pan.
- Bake for 27 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Serve warm with chocolate sauce and ice cream on top.
Notes
The center will firm up slightly as the pie cools.
Use unsalted butter with a pinch of salt if preferred.
Add nuts, chocolate chips, or espresso powder for variation.
Reheat gently to restore the fudgy texture.
