Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
  6. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  7. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over each piece.
  9. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  10. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Add a splash of chicken broth for a light pan sauce.

Boneless, skinless chicken thighs can be substituted with adjusted cooking time.
