Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over each piece.
- Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
