Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken
½ cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free breadcrumbs)
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
2 tablespoons coconut aminos
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
½ cup beef broth (or chicken broth)
¼ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
1 tablespoon flour (or gluten-free flour)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, coconut aminos, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form the mixture into 4–6 oval patties.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove patties and set aside.

In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to create a smooth sauce.

Simmer sauce for 5–6 minutes until it thickens, then stir in heavy cream (or coconut cream) and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes
To make low-carb, substitute breadcrumbs with almond flour.
Ground turkey can also be used instead of ground chicken for a different flavor.
