Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup pre-cooked gyro meat (lamb or chicken)
1 cup sliced tomatoes
½ cup sliced red onions
1 cup shredded lettuce
½ cup tzatziki sauce (homemade or store-bought)
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Step 2: Spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with pre-cooked gyro meat, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and shredded lettuce.
- Step 3: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Step 4: Drizzle more tzatziki sauce over the baked pizza and sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese.
- Step 5: Slice the pizza and serve hot, optionally with more tzatziki for dipping.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the gyro meat and add extra vegetables like cucumbers, olives, or bell peppers.
For added spice, try chili flakes or jalapeños on the pizza.
Feel free to swap the feta with other cheeses like goat cheese, mozzarella, or parmesan.
