Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat cheese and butter together until creamy and fluffy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients: flour, salt, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the cheese mixture and mix until fully combined.
  5. Pipe the dough into strips using a star-tipped pastry bag or cookie press.
  6. Cut the dough into 3-inch pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool completely before serving.
