This Homemade Salsa is fresh, flavorful, and ready in under 10 minutes! With juicy tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, garlic, and cilantro, it’s the perfect snack with tortilla chips or a topping for tacos, fajitas, and more. Easily customizable for your preferred spice level, this salsa is both healthy and versatile.

Ingredients

Tomatoes (any variety)

1 bell pepper

Red onion

Green onion

Fresh garlic

Fresh cilantro

Lime juice

Salt

Cumin

Chili powder

Cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  • Process the Veggies: Add tomatoes, green onion, red onion, garlic, cilantro, and bell pepper to a food processor. Blend until combined.

  • Add the Spices: Add salt, cumin, chili powder, cayenne, and lime juice to the food processor. Blend again.

  • Final Blend: Add any remaining tomato and pulse to reach your desired consistency—smooth or chunky.

  • Serve: Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, fajitas, or other favorite meals.

Notes

Spicy Version: Add fresh jalapeños, poblano peppers, or chili peppers for extra heat.

Smooth Salsa: For a smoother, restaurant-style salsa, blend longer.

Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Freezing: Salsa can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw before serving.
