- 1 tsp cotton candy extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cotton candy sprinkles (or colorful nonpareils)
- Optional: pink and blue gel food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the cotton candy sprinkles.
- If using, divide dough into two bowls and color one pink, the other blue. Gently swirl together for a marbled effect.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on the prepared baking sheet spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are set and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a stronger cotton candy flavor, you can increase the amount of cotton candy extract slightly.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- Adding pink and blue food coloring is optional but enhances the festive appearance of the cookies.
