Description

These King Crab Appetizers feature a flaky biscuit base topped with a rich, creamy crab mixture, making them the perfect bite-sized treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

2 (12-ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (6-ounce) can crab meat, drained

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 pinch paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease 12 tartlet pans.
  2. Divide the biscuit dough in half and press each piece into the prepared tartlet pans. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the crab mixture into each tartlet, ensuring an even distribution.
  5. Garnish with a pinch of paprika for a pop of color and extra flavor.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tartlet crusts are golden brown and the filling is bubbly and slightly browned on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. These tartlets also freeze wonderfully—just reheat before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

These tartlets freeze wonderfully! After baking, cool and freeze them on a baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer-safe container. Reheat at 375°F (190°C) for 10–15 minutes.

For a variation, add shrimp to the crab mixture for a surf-and-turf twist.
