Description
Soft, gooey, and colorful no-bake Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats made with buttery marshmallows and crunchy cereal for a quick and fun dessert.
Ingredients
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
½ teaspoon salt
1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
1 (12 oz) box Lucky Charms cereal
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13-inch pan with butter and optionally line with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large non-stick pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add salt and mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in the Lucky Charms cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and gently press it evenly using a buttered spatula without packing too firmly.
- Allow to cool completely at room temperature for 30–60 minutes.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Avoid overheating the marshmallows to keep the treats soft.
Do not press the mixture too firmly into the pan to prevent hard bars.
Add an extra cup of mini marshmallows for extra gooey texture.
Drizzle melted white chocolate on top for a decorative finish.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Microwave for 5–8 seconds to soften if needed.
