Description

These No-Bake Protein Bites are the perfect combination of rich brownie batter flavor and creamy cottage cheese, topped with a luscious layer of melted dark chocolate. Packed with protein from chocolate protein powder and cottage cheese, these bites are an ideal healthy snack or post-workout treat. Easy to make and satisfying, they’re low in calories and full of deliciousness, providing the perfect balance of sweetness and protein.


Ingredients

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup chocolate protein powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup almond flour

2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (for the topping)

1 teaspoon coconut oil (for the topping)


Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cocoa powder, chocolate protein powder, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.

  • Stir until smooth and fully combined.

  • Gradually add in the almond flour, mixing until everything is well incorporated.

  • If desired, fold in the mini chocolate chips for added texture and flavor.

  • Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.

  • Place the protein bites on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

  • Once the protein bites are formed, drizzle or dip the melted chocolate over the top of each bite.

  • Refrigerate the bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up and allow the chocolate layer to set.

  • Enjoy your protein-packed bites with the added chocolate layer as a sweet and healthy treat!

Notes

  • Store these protein bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
