Ingredients
3 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup honey or corn syrup
3 Snickers bars, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
- Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt peanut butter and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in honey or corn syrup until well combined.
- Add crispy rice cereal and chopped Snickers pieces, mixing until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the pressed mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
Swap semi-sweet chocolate with dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
Add chopped peanuts on top before chilling for extra crunch.
Use sunflower seed butter and omit Snickers for a nut-free version.
For softer bars, let sit at room temperature 5–10 minutes before serving.
Freeze in parchment-lined layers for up to 2 months.
