Description

These No-Bake Monster Cookie Balls are the perfect blend of oats, peanut butter, mini M&Ms, chocolate chips, and honey. They’re easy to make, kid-friendly, and ideal for snacks or on-the-go treats. Packed with protein and just the right amount of sweetness, these cookie balls are a fun, mess-free dessert or midday pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats (or quick oats)

  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup mini M&Ms

  • 1/2 cup peanuts, chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup melting chocolate (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, chocolate chips, M&Ms, and chopped peanuts.

  2. Heat Wet Ingredients:
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the peanut butter and honey for about 1 minute, until melted and easy to stir.

  3. Combine Mixtures:
Pour the melted peanut butter and honey mixture over the dry ingredients. Use a hand mixer or sturdy spoon to mix thoroughly until fully combined.

  4. Shape into Balls:
Roll the mixture into about 24 balls (approximately 1 inch in size) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  5. Chill:
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes until firm.

  6. Optional Chocolate Coating:
If desired, melt the chocolate and dip each ball partially or fully, then return to the fridge to set.

Notes

  • You can swap the peanut butter for almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.

  • Add a scoop of protein powder to turn these into energy bites.

  • Great for freezing—store in a freezer-safe bag and enjoy straight from the freezer.
