Description

Oreo Cream Cheese Truffles combine rich cream cheese with the iconic taste of Oreo cookies, all coated in smooth white chocolate. These easy-to-make, no-bake truffles are a perfect balance of creamy, crunchy, and sweet flavors, making them a hit for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup white chocolate chips

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for melting chocolate)

Optional toppings (sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or cocoa powder)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until they turn into fine crumbs. Alternatively, crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
  3. Scoop portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm them up.
  5. While the truffles chill, melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-30 second intervals, stirring after each until smooth. Add vegetable oil for a thinner coating, if desired.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, using a fork to lift them out and letting excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Sprinkle the truffles with your chosen toppings (sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or cocoa powder) while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Return the truffles to the baking sheet and refrigerate them for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate is set.
  9. Once set, serve the truffles or store them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

For a different flavor, use mint Oreo cookies instead of regular ones for a refreshing twist.

Add mini chocolate chips or a drizzle of dark chocolate for extra indulgence.

For a vegan version, substitute dairy-free cream cheese and chocolate chips.
