Description
A delicious and simple dessert recipe consisting of baked apples wrapped in crescent rolls, topped with sweet buttery sauce and served with ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent rolls
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 (12 ounce) can Mountain Dew soda
Instructions
- Peel and core the apples, then cut them into 8 slices each.
- Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll and place in a buttered 9×13-inch pan.
- Melt the butter, then add the sugar and stir gently. Add vanilla, stir, and pour over the apples.
- Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream and spoon some of the sweet sauce from the pan over the top.
Notes
- For best results, use Granny Smith apples as they are tart and balance the sweetness.
- Serve immediately for the best taste, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
