Description

Sheet-Pan Crispy Ramen is an easy and flavorful one-pan meal that combines crispy chicken, vibrant vegetables, and ramen noodles. Cooked together under the broiler, this dish has a golden, caramelized texture that’s packed with savory, sweet, and spicy flavors. Perfect for busy weeknights, this recipe offers big flavors with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (optional, for extra spice)
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, sliced into ½” pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or grated
  • 1 tbsp finely grated peeled ginger
  • 1 bunch scallions, cut into 1” pieces
  • 1 lb broccoli, cut into ½” florets
  • 8 oz snow peas, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 (3-oz.) packages ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • Toasted sesame seeds (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Broiler: Arrange a rack in the upper third of the oven and heat the broiler.
  • Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, maple syrup, sriracha, and chicken bouillon.
  • Season the Chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the chicken, garlic, ginger, and 2 tbsp of the sauce mixture. Set the remaining sauce aside.
  • Prepare the Vegetables: On a large sheet pan, toss the scallions, broccoli, snow peas, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange the chicken on top of the vegetables.
  • Broil the Chicken: Broil the sheet pan, watching closely, for 3-5 minutes until the chicken is browned.
  • Cook the Ramen: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and rinse with cold water.
  • Combine the Noodles and Vegetables: Add the cooked noodles to the sheet pan along with the remaining sauce. Toss everything together and spread in an even layer.
  • Crisp the Noodles: Broil for an additional 5-7 minutes until the noodles are crispy and the broccoli is tender. For crispier noodles, toss them and spread again, then broil for 3-5 minutes more.
  • Serve: Top with sesame seeds and additional sriracha if desired.

Notes

  • Vegetarian Version: Replace the chicken with mushrooms or tofu for a plant-based option.
  • Spicy Version: Add extra sriracha or chili flakes for more heat.
  • Additional Vegetables: Swap in bell peppers, baby corn, or carrots to customize your dish.
