Ingredients
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the Granny Smith apples.
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced apples to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften.
- Sprinkle the granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg (if using), and a pinch of salt over the apples.
