1 pound pizza dough
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup black olives, sliced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out pizza dough into a 12-inch circle and place on a pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Brush the edges with olive oil. Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a border for the crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Create a spiderweb design with sliced black olives or thin strips of mozzarella arranged in a web pattern.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, then slice into 8 pieces and serve warm.
Notes
Use pesto or barbecue sauce instead of traditional pizza sauce for variety.
Add pepperoni cut into fun shapes for extra festivity.
Layer mushrooms, bell peppers, or other veggies under the cheese for more flavor.
Try dyed mozzarella with food coloring for a unique look.
Bake on a preheated pizza stone for a crispier crust.
