Description
Spooky Bat Wing Chicken is a festive twist on classic chicken wings, coated in a sweet, spicy, and smoky glaze that caramelizes into a dark, bat-like finish. Perfect for Halloween parties or fun gatherings, these wings are easy to make and packed with bold flavor.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless chicken wings
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and soy sauce until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, stir together honey and hot sauce until smooth and combined.
- Brush the glaze over the baked wings, then return to the oven for 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.
- Serve warm on a platter with toothpicks or dipping sauces.
Notes
Swap boneless wings for bone-in wings, adjusting cooking time as needed.
Grill instead of baking for a smokier version.
Adjust heat level by changing the type or amount of hot sauce.
Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
Reheat in a 350°F oven for best texture.
