Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts (butterflied or pounded to 1-inch thickness)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup marinara sauce or Alfredo sauce
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with olive oil.

Butterfly or pound chicken breasts to about 1-inch thickness and pat dry.

In a shallow bowl, whisk the egg. In another shallow bowl, combine parmesan, breadcrumbs, and minced garlic.

Dip chicken in egg, then press into breadcrumb-parmesan mixture until fully coated.
