- 1 cup diced onions
- 1.25 ounce taco seasoning mix
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 16 ounce refried beans
- 2 (8 ounce) cans Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls

- Tomatoes (for topping)
- Sliced olives (for topping)
- Sour cream (for topping)
- Cilantro (for topping)
- Green onions (for topping)
- Salsa (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, jalapeno, and onions until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain excess grease.
- Return beef mixture to skillet and stir in taco seasoning and beef broth. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
- On a baking sheet, arrange triangles in a circle with wide ends overlapping in the center and tips pointing outward, leaving about a 5-inch opening in the middle.
- Spread refried beans over the wide ends of crescents.
- Spoon taco meat mixture over beans and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Fold crescent tips over filling and tuck underneath to form a ring.
- Bake 20–25 minutes, or until crescent dough is golden brown.
- Cool slightly before slicing and top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, sour cream, cilantro, green onions, and salsa.
Notes
- Swap beef with ground turkey, shredded chicken, or sautéed vegetables for variety.
- Add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
- Use pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese for a spicier version.
- Make vegetarian by replacing meat with beans or lentils.
- Best served fresh—reheat in the oven to keep the crescent rolls crispy.
