Description

A hearty, family-friendly casserole that packs all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger into a cheesy pasta bake. This comforting dish is quick, versatile, and perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (or pasta of choice)

1 can (10.5 oz) condensed tomato soup

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained

¼ cup ketchup

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp paprika

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Salt & pepper, to taste

¼ cup chopped pickles (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in tomato soup, diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add cooked pasta and 1 cup cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped pickles, if using, and serve warm.

Notes

Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.

Add vegetables like bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach for extra nutrition.

Mix in sour cream or cream cheese for a creamier texture.
