Description
Turkey cranberry sliders are a festive way to use Thanksgiving leftovers, combining soft Hawaiian rolls with savory turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, melty cheese, and a buttery seasoned topping for the ultimate party or family meal.
Ingredients
1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 cups diced turkey
1 cup cranberry sauce or relish
6 slices Swiss cheese (or preferred cheese)
6 tbsp butter
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tbsp dried minced onion
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: Parmesan cheese
Optional: dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer in the prepared pan.
- Layer evenly with turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
- Place the top layer of rolls back on.
- Melt butter and whisk in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the rolls.
- Cover with foil and let rest for 5–10 minutes so the rolls absorb the sauce.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving.
- Slice into 12 individual sliders and serve warm.
Notes
- Try provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar instead of Swiss cheese.
- Add cream cheese or stuffing for extra richness and flavor.
- Toast the bottom rolls lightly before assembling to prevent sogginess.
- Sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
