Description

Turkey cranberry sliders are a festive way to use Thanksgiving leftovers, combining soft Hawaiian rolls with savory turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, melty cheese, and a buttery seasoned topping for the ultimate party or family meal.

Ingredients

1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls

2 cups diced turkey

1 cup cranberry sauce or relish

6 slices Swiss cheese (or preferred cheese)

6 tbsp butter

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tbsp dried minced onion

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: Parmesan cheese

Optional: dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise to create a top and bottom layer. Place the bottom layer in the prepared pan.
  3. Layer evenly with turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
  4. Place the top layer of rolls back on.
  5. Melt butter and whisk in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the rolls.
  6. Cover with foil and let rest for 5–10 minutes so the rolls absorb the sauce.
  7. Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley before serving.
  9. Slice into 12 individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Try provolone, mozzarella, or cheddar instead of Swiss cheese.
  • Add cream cheese or stuffing for extra richness and flavor.
  • Toast the bottom rolls lightly before assembling to prevent sogginess.
  • Sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
