Description

This Iced Strawberry Green Tea is a bright and refreshing drink that blends delicate green tea with sweet strawberries and tangy lemon juice. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for warm days, brunches, or an energizing afternoon beverage.

Ingredients

16 oz brewed green tea, cooled

1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon honey or sweetener of choice

1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Brew the green tea by steeping a tea bag in 2 cups of hot water. Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm until dissolved.
  2. Chill the tea in the refrigerator or pour it over ice until cooled.
  3. Fill a mason jar or large glass with ice.
  4. Pour the cooled green tea over the ice and add the fresh lemon juice.
  5. Gently stir in the freeze-dried strawberries.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy cold.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries instead of freeze-dried strawberries for a juicier fruit flavor.

Add extra honey or sweetener if you prefer a sweeter drink.

Fresh mint leaves make a refreshing addition.

Replace part of the tea with sparkling water for a fizzy version.

Jasmine green tea adds a subtle floral flavor.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and stir before serving.
